            I am a student with an interest for plants and all of their ins and outs. 
            I have a particular affinity for said beings that seem to be background noise for others.
          

Flora Archive gives my interest and questions somewhere to go. Me being in area not really known for any sort of agricultural activity (at all) or a supportive community doesn't really limit me, shut me or my questions down. I just could not accept letting go of my main interest so I can appeal to someone's wretched opinion and become what they want. Hence, the creation of Flora Archive commenced. If nobody is there to validate my reasoning and accept my interest, I'll simply make a place where I can show others my rigor without needing their opinion and acceptance. After all, the most important part of my life is for me to accept myself first, the rest will follow. And what can even accept you more than your own portfolio and archive?

The mother plant idea of Flora Archive may not be simple, so, pay attention.

Plants all around us suffer from plant blindness. a term coined in 1999 by botanists James Wandersee and Elisabeth Schussler. That term suggests that people tend to ignore plants and treat them like an almost non-existent background. I seem to be one of those people that aren't under the effects of said term.

I get excited when I see a generic non-identifiable plant in the background of a show, or a weed growing in the dreadful cracks of a sidewalk. I'm not so easily fooled by how they beautifully blend in the background. so, I subconsiously made it my mission to make a place where I'm not the only person recognizing the plants, a place where others see how much plants mean. This makes the mother plant purpose of Flora Archive is to be a place for plants to appreciated and honored. As they should. Though this is only the vague and shady mother plant purpose of Flora Archive, it serves other, more specialized purposes. I like to call these missions, "The Offspring Missions."

The Offspring Missions... The specific side uses of Flora Archive. They tend to be more personal than you'd imagine going off of the Mother Plant Mission's description.

There are 5 total offsprings and they all serve a different specialization. I can have pretty weird analogies, but think of it like this: You are trying to make a nursery and you need people with different specializations. e.g, an accountant, a salesperson, a plant tissue expert, etc. That is how the specializations of Flora Archive work.

The following missions are not the ONLY side purposes of Flora Archive, but they represent the clearest, most understandable pavilion sides of the diamond that is Flora Archive. While the Mother Plant Mission represents the table of the diamond.
